We may not be able to meet every need, but we will listen, pray, and help connect you with resources whenever we can.

Do I have to be a member of Poplar Springs to request help?
No. While our volunteers are part of Poplar Springs Ministries, we gladly serve our broader local community as we are able. Share your need and we will let you know what support is available.
Is there a cost for these services?
There is no charge for ministry care. In some cases—for example, if specialized contractors or materials are required—we may help you explore options or connect you with trusted resources.
How safe are the volunteers who come to my home?
We take safety seriously. Volunteers serve in pairs when possible, sensitive roles require background checks, and our team confirms details with you before any visit.
What if I can’t commit to serving every week?
That’s okay. Many volunteers serve once a month or as needs arise. You can indicate your availability on the volunteer form and we will match opportunities to your schedule.
Can I refer someone else who needs care?
Yes. You can use the ministry need request form on this page to share about a friend, neighbor, or family member. When appropriate, we’ll ask for their permission before we reach out.
